Dental emergencies never seem to happen at a convenient time. If you are dealing with tooth pain, swelling, a broken tooth, or another urgent problem, contact Oakhurst Dental as soon as possible.

Dr. Graybill evaluates the source of the problem, relieves pain when possible, and recommends the next step to stabilize your smile quickly.

Problems that should be checked promptly

What to do first

Call the office and explain what happened, when it started, and whether swelling or trauma is involved. That helps us determine the urgency and guide you on what to do before you are seen.

If you are having trouble breathing or swallowing because of an infection or injury, go directly to the nearest emergency room.

Emergency care can still be conservative care

Sometimes the best emergency treatment is not an immediate extraction. In many cases, teeth can be stabilized and saved with the right diagnosis and follow-up treatment.
